This years AGM will be in Kent over the weekend of the 23rd-24th and 25th of October 2009.

The weekend will be based at the Ramada Hotel Resort near Maidstone. The hotel, which has 126 bedrooms (44 twin, 80 doubles and two suites), is set in 26 acres of private grounds and is close to junction 8 of the M20. The Hotel website is www.ramadajarvis.co.uk

A special rate has been negotiated for the nights of Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th. (To benefit from the reduced rate the correct code must be given when booking. It’s all in a flyer with full event details and a booking form that’s been sent to the printer for inclusion with April’s issue of The Nelson Dispatch.)If any member should wish to stay longer they must inform the hotel and must pay the hotel’s going rate for that evening. Full prepayment is required at the time of booking, which is non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation. This special rate will only apply until 11th September 2009. After this time all rooms are sold on a first come first served basis at the hotel’s going rate at that time.

Those attending this AGM weekend should be aware that they do so at their own risk. As the organiser, The Nelson Society accepts no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or direct or consequential loss however caused and each member is responsible for booking their own hotel accommodation.
