THE 2010 NILE LUNCHEON 30-31 JULY

THE 2010 NILE LUNCHEON, 30-31 JULY

The Nile Luncheon will take place as usual in the Rutland Hotel, Bakewell on Saturday 31st July 2010, commencing with coffee at 1030 am. Our Guest Speaker will be Mr. M.K.H CRUMPLIN FRCS, whose talk will be entitled: “Death of an Admiral, Surgery in Nelson’s Navy”.

To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, members attending the lunch are invited to meet informally for old times’ sake at the Cock and Pullet Inn, Sheldon, near Bakewell, from 7.30 pm on Friday evening 30 July, to get together and partake of warm Derbyshire hospitality and good reasonably priced pub fare.

Members wishing to attend the lunch should forward a cheque for £28, payable to “The Nelson Society”, to Alan York, OBE, at Rushley Avenue, Dore, Sheffield, S17 3EP, telephone: 0114 2621902.
