in response to your query in the Nelson Dispatch Vol 10 part 3, I don't know if you know about Rina Prentice, she wrote The Authentic Nelson.

she talks about items that have been authenticated as belonging to the vice admiral and ones that could not be, I'm not sure if there is mention of a music box, but you can have a look through the book to see, perhaps she can be of some help
